Hardraw Scar Brass Band Festival

Leyburn Band win Best Ungraded band, joint with Barnoldswick, beating local rival Bedale by a clear 6 points! Leyburn also scooped Best Hymn which brought home £30 in prize money and the Ray Needham Rose Bowl. Pieces played at Hardraw were:

2. Great is thy faithfulness (Hymn)
3. Circle of Life
4. Concerto de Aranjuez
5. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

All five pieces were well received by the audience of over 600 that turned out to see the 12 bands competing.
